Lions re-sign long snapper to 1-year deal

ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) The Detroit Lions have re-signed long snapper Don Muhlbach to a one-year contract.

The Lions announced the deal Friday.

Muhlbach has spent the past 11 seasons with the Lions. He was named to the NFC Pro Bowl team following the 2012 season. Last year, he played his 150th game with Detroit. He's now played 164, which is tied for 13th on the team's career list.
