Lions RB Bush (ankle) to miss Thursday's game vs. Bears

Published Nov. 27, 2014 11:40 a.m. ET

Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush will miss Thursday's game against the Chicago Bears because of his ankle injury.

It will be the third consecutive game Bush has been sidelined, and the fourth game in the past five.

The Lions (7-4) had set this week as the target date for Bush to return, the NFL Network reports. Detroit, which hasn't scored a touchdown in the past two games, will use Joique Bell and Theo Riddick in place of Bush.

In seven games this season, Bush has rushed for 191 yards and one TD and has 26 receptions for 169 yards.
