Langford holds slight edge over Forte in Bears' RB split after Week 14

The Chicago Bears are splitting running back reps pretty evenly between Matt Forte and Jeremy Langford. Against the Washington Redskins in Week 14, the rookie saw a slightly bigger workload than the team's established veteran.
Via Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune:
Forte was the more efficient runner on Sunday. He finished with 45 yards and a touchdown, while Langford was limited to 37 yards and was kept out of the end zone. Langford added 27 receiving yards; Forte's lone reception went for eight yards.
#Bears RB playing time: Jeremy Langford 31/59 snaps (11 carries, 7 targets, 3 catches), Matt Forte 28/59 (10 carries, 2 targets, 1 catch).

The Bears have three more games to figure out their direction for the future at running back, since Forte will be a free agent next spring. They might not re-sign him, if Langford is ready to lead the team.
