If fans of the Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers are angry about the NFL's uncertain labor situation, they certainly aren't taking it out on Aaron Rodgers.
The Packers quarterback received a rousing ovation from fans at a Milwaukee Wave indoor soccer game Sunday afternoon. Rodgers appeared there on behalf of the MACC Fund, a children's cancer charity, and spoke briefly to the crowd without referencing the league's unsettled labor situation.
Rodgers, the Packers' representative to the recently dissolved NFL Players Association, did not take questions from reporters. Talks between players and owners about a new collective bargaining agreement broke down Friday, and the two sides are expected to fight it out in court.
