Kate Upton bashes national anthem protesters

Swimsuit model Kate Upton is not happy that certain players in the National Football League are protesting during the national anthem.
In America, everyone has the right to demonstrate peacefully. Since San Francisco 49ers quarterbacol Colin Kaepernick decided to sit and then kneel during the national anthem, other NFL players have begun to take up the cause.
On Sunday, the Miami Dolphins had some players taking one knee during the anthem, a touchy move made even more controversial with the demonstration happening on Sept. 11. Upton was not happy about the actions of some players, responding with remarks on Twitter.
This is unacceptable. You should be proud to be an American. Especially on 9/11 when we should support each other. https://t.co/qFozwaH9Bu

This is a reasonable stance by another American voicing her opinion and exercising her rights of free speech. Upton has the same thoughts as many on the matter, who are tired of seeing NFL players making protests during the Star Spangled Banner with either a fist raised, a sitdown or by taking a knee.
At this point, this controversy isn’t going anywhere soon. Upton’s stance will be talked about by many, as she continues to be a notable in the sports world. On the opposite end, there will be many others who continue to talk about the need for more demonstrations, hoping to get social justice in this country.
