Kampman, Britton out for Jags opener

Published Sep. 11, 2011 1:00 a.m. ET

The Jacksonville Jaguars will be without defensive end Aaron Kampman and right tackle Eben Britton against Tennessee.

The Tennessee Titans will be without starting defensive end Jason Jones (knee) and backup Derrick Morgan (knee).

All of them were inactive for Sunday's game.

Kampman and Britton were limited in practice all week and listed as questionable Friday. Kampman is still recovering from knee surgery in November. The team was cautious with his playing time in the preseason. He played about 10 snaps in last week's finale.

Britton missed the preseason because of a herniated disk in his lower back.

Jaguars tight end Zach Miller, who sprained his right knee in the preseason opener, also was inactive.
