Jordy Nelson pens letter to Packers fans after learning about season-ending injury

Injuries are the most unfortunate part of football.

For Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson, an MRI confirmed on Monday that he would be sidelined with a season-ending knee injury, the team announced.

Nelson, who was the Packers' leading receiver a season ago, sustained the injury in Sunday's preseason game on a non-contact play.

While the last 24 hours have been devastating for Packers fans, their star wide receiver penned a note on his Facebook account thanking them for their loyalty.
