Jones brothers inactive for Patriots-Colts

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) The Jones brothers are inactive for the Patriots-Colts game on Sunday night, with the absences affecting both teams.

Defensive tackle Arthur Jones is out for Indianapolis because of an injured ankle.

His brother, defensive end Chandler Jones, is out for New England with a hip injury. The Patriots declined to announce who will start in his place.

For the Colts, Ricky Jean Francois will replace Arthur Jones, who has missed two straight games and six of the last seven.

Indianapolis (6-3) also deactivated offensive tackle Xavier Nixon, defensive tackle Kelcy Quarles, linebackers Henoc Muamba and Victor Butler, and guards Lance Louis and Khaled Holmes.

New England (7-2) deactivated receiver Aaron Dobson, running back James White, safety Don Jones, cornerback Alfonzo Dennard, offensive tackle Jordan Devey and defensive lineman Casey Walker.
