Jets vs Chiefs: All about consistency for Gang Green
For the upcoming Jets vs Chiefs Week 3 game, later on, today, consistency is what it’s all about for Gang Green.
Consistency. One word, four syllables. Jets vs Chiefs. One game, four quarters. To win in an unfriendly place like Arrowhead Stadium, the Jets are going to need to do something we haven’t seen all season. Young as it may be–they are going to have to put forth a consistent effort for all four quarters.
Oh sure, I know what you are thinking– the team is 1-1 and could be 2-0 if not for four points scrubbed by the kicking game in Week 1. You are not wrong, but that is entirely the point. The team has got to clean up those spots where the game has turned into a dumpster fire.

The kind of which creates drama, putting the outcome in question. Really, by virtue of the “good” play, which, let’s face it, has been most of the time. The jets should be sitting at 2-0, breathing down the Patriots’ necks for first place and feeling good about facing their toughest opponent yet.

He hadn’t.
Marcus Williams has played well, with an Interception in each contest, but he’s going to need help. The third quarter was abysmal and it looked as if the Bills would be shuffling off with a victory. Fortunately, the Jets did regain their composure and eventually closed it out for the win.
But that is not likely to be the case against the Chiefs who are really hard to beat in their home. They are honoring fullback Tony Richardson at halftime but he was a Jet also. Let’s hope some of the mojo drifts over to the Green and White sideline.
Four quarters. Complete effort. Top to bottom. And the Jets will win.
