Jets QB Geno Smith practices in full for first time since breaking jaw

Geno Smith practiced in full on Wednesday for the first time since breaking his jaw and could be active for the New York Jets' Week 3 game.
On Tuesday, Todd Bowles announced Ryan Fitzpatrick will remain the starter once Smith does return, so he won't assume his starting role -- but his return is a good sign. He's been limited since IK Enemkpali broke his jaw with a punch back in August.
Todd Bowles announced at his press conference on Wednesday that either Smith or Bryce Petty will be the No. 2 quarterback on Sunday, though it's yet to be determined. With Fitzpatrick as the starter -- and playing well -- the Jets will likely still carry three quarterbacks on the active roster.
This season, Fitzpatrick has led the Jets to a 2-0 record and thrown for 423 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions.
