Jets offense continues to roll behind trimmed beard of Fitzpatrick

The New York Jets went into Week 14 having won back-to-back games for the third time this season. In the first two instances, they were unable to win the third game to make it a three-game win streak.
On Sunday, however, the Jets were able to capture that elusive third win in a row.
New York came away with the easy win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 14, dominating them en route to a 30-8 victory. With that, the Jets move to 8-5 on the year and retain their wild-card berth with just three games to play.
Unlike the way the Jets were winning early in the year, it's the offense that's been carrying the team on their win streak. Ryan Fitzpatrick continued his stellar play since shaving his beard, completing 21-of-36 passes for 263 yards and three touchdowns. He's now thrown nine touchdowns and zero interceptions in his last three games -- all of which came after he cut down the facial hair.
His partner in crime, Brandon Marshall, kept up his dominance, as well. Marshall caught six passes for 125 yards and a touchdown, his eight game surpassing the century mark. Additionally, he and Eric Decker set a franchise record by becoming the first pair of Jets receivers to catch nine touchdowns each in the same season.
On the ground, Chris Ivory got it going and looked like he did to start the year. He carried it 22 times for 101 yards, though he didn't find the end zone.
Marshall and Fitzpatrick have been nearly perfect in the last three games, with Marshall topping 100 yards in each of those contests. If the Jets continue to play like this, they'll be on the inside track for a playoff berth, and maybe more.
