Jameis Winston tells Mike Evans to think 'Joe Montana, Jerry Rice'
Jameis Winston has high hopes and big dreams for himself and second-year receiver Mike Evans. According to Kevin Patra of NFL.com, Winston was recently asked about his relationship with Evans, which resulted in a headline-grabbing quote.
"I'm a big dreamer and I always tell Mike, 'Mike: Joe Montana, Jerry Rice,' just things like that, building our heads up," Winston told Buccaneers.com. "That was one of the best duos of all time. But I love this game of football so much, so I try to relate me and a great receiver like him to other players that have done it before ..."
Don't worry though, Bucs fans, as Winston also fired plenty of praise towards the likes of Vincent Jackson, Kenny Bell and Louis Murphy, as Patra explained.
It's not like Winston actually compared his game to Montana, but instead just keeps pushing himself and Evans to try to be like one of the greatest duos of all-time. There's nothing to not love about that quote from Famous Jameis.
