Jaguars WR Hurns plans to 'fight through' sprained left foot

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) Jaguars receiver Allen Hurns sprained his left foot against the New York Jets and was wearing a walking boot Monday.

Hurns, who caught five passes for 122 yards and a touchdown in the loss, said ''it's kind of tender right now. I'm not sure how it will play out ... but it's going to take an awful lot for me not to be out there. I'll fight through anything to make sure I'm out there.''

Hurns had an X-ray and a MRI, but neither revealed any serious damage. Hurns says he hurt it on Jacksonville's final offensive play, an interception.

Hurns has a touchdown reception in six consecutive games, a franchise record. A second-year pro from Miami, Hurns has 36 catches for 635 yards and six scores this season.
