Jags get back to work following bye

With Jaguars set to start the second half of the season, head coach Gus Bradley said he he's looking forward to getting back to practice this week, particularly with his team finally starting to get healthy.
Jacksonville held a pad-free workout on Monday, with only wide receiver Marqise Lee and left guard Zane Beadles unable to participate. For a team that has seen a number of significant contributors miss time over the first seven games, that's a big difference.
āWeāve got a lot of guys coming back who were injured, little tweaks here and there,ā Bradley said, per the team's official website.
āFor the most part, guys are coming back and weāre getting opportunities. A practice like Wednesday, where itās competition-based, we can do one on ones again. We werenāt able to do one on ones for many weeks because we didnāt have the receivers or the DBs (defensive backs) to do it.
āNow, with the guys coming back, we can go out there and get back into our competitive mode of practice and challenging these guys with one on ones. That part is where I think youāre going to feel the difference.ā
Bradley and the Jaguars will see if the difference pays off when they begin the second half of the season Sunday against the New York Jets.
