Injury Update: Giants offensive line will be unprepared against Ravens offense

This week’s bad news is that the most reliable presence of the New York Giants offensive line is out with a groin injury , Jason Pierre-Paul.

Adding to McAdoo’s laundry list of problems this season other than OBJ and Flowers

This adds another problem to head coach Ben McAdoo’s desk earlier this morning, as he presumably sat brooding over another challenge ahead on Sunday against the Ravens with a decrepit defensive secondary and ailing offensive line.

It would have been predicted well in advance that the Giants o-line and defensive line mates would buckle under pressure of the top ranked defense s in the league, notably Minnesota.

JPP is expected to play although is listed as questionable. As can be imagined, this leaves serious debuts as to whether the Giants’s chance of winning is significant. Injuries have sent the Giants suddenly falling down a black hole out of which it is growing more unlikely by the day that the Giants can find an escape.

Needing a saving presence all year long, the Big Blue will continue to struggle against evenly matched teams unless they make important decisions .

First on the list is what to do with an offense that is virtually powerless when faced with a strong pass rushing Green Bay or Minnesota team. Second, will the Giants nee to rethink their secondary which includes replacements to injured players such as Nat Behre and Larry Donnell.

It is a terrible thing to sit on one’s hands while a team is imploding. All the blame will fall on the shoulders of McAdoo this week, and the fact is that McAdoo or any other coach for that matter cannot account for unforeseeable risks which are apart of life.
