Indianapolis Colts at New York Jets: Week 13 Where to Watch
The Indianapolis Colts are out east to face the New York Jets on Monday Night Football and we get you prepped for the game.
The Colts (5-6) are set to face the Jets (3-8) tonight in a game that puts them into a tie for first place in the AFC South. Thanks to a Texans loss at the hands of the Packers yesterday, the Colts can move into a three-way tie for first place in the division. A win would set up a division showdown in Indianapolis next week between the Texans and Colts which would more than likely determine who takes home the division crown.
But first the Colts have to handle the hapless Jets. While the offense (read: Andrew Luck) has been cleared to play, the Colts are going to be without three starters tonight on defense.
We spoke with the editor of The Jets Press to get some inside info on this week’s foe and what the matchup holds for the Colts. The Jets have one of the most formidable defensive front sevens in the league, but unfortunately for them their secondary ranks almost at the very bottom. That’s good news for a Colts team that is at it’s best when passing deep.
These two teams last squared off against each other at the beginning of the 2015 season. The Colts lost 20-7 at home in that meeting, struggling with untimely turnovers and an inability to figure out how best to execute their offense. But this time around the Jets have little to play for and the Colts are in desperation mode. That may well count for something in this meeting.
