The New Orleans Saints have no interest in bringing in running back Ray Rice, FOX NFL Sunday insider Jay Glazer reports.
Rice, 28, had his indefinite suspension lifted Friday, and multiple reports have stated that teams have expressed interest in signing him. A deal, though, is unlikely at least until 2015.
The reality is Rice doesn't play a position of premium and has plenty of tread on his tires. Teams must weigh the production value on the field versus the off-the-field circus.
One head coach said, according to Glazer, that he didn't want anything to do with Rice because it would alienate the female fan base. Glazer did note, however, that Rice plans to try to clean up his public image this week.
