Giants now using drones to film practices

The New York Giants are joining several other NFL teams in their quest to improve via any means necessary and legal. On Wednesday, they joined a few other early adapters and deployed a drone to hover over practice and provide the team with a unique overhead view.
The drone buzzed overhead as the Giants practiced, and some players were in awe. Defensive tackle/end Cullen Jenkins, who has been around the NFL since 2003, told Newsday, "That stuff is crazy," when asked about the drone. He also added that he was skeptical about how much it would add, saying "Probably nothing much, but it looks cool."
The Giants are hoping that the drones will give them an opportunity to make corrections and adjustments to their football team based on a view of play that they haven't seen before. There has been no word on whether or not the team plans to use them again during training camp later this summer.
