Giants' Eli Manning nominated for NFL Man of the Year Award

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning has been nominated for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award.

The award is named after late Chicago Bears Hall of Fame running back Walter Payton, and the award represents a single football player who displayed, "the best of the NFL's commitment to philanthropy and community impact," according to the official release.

All 32 teams have one nominee each for the award, and the winner will be announced during the NFL Honors awards show on February 6, 2016.
