Giants deal with 3-hour flight delay after brutal loss

Just to add insult to injury, the New York Giants suffered a 3-hour flight delay home after their brutal loss to the Dallas Cowboys in the final seconds of Week 1. The Giants ended up arriving back in New Jersey on Monday morning at 7:30 a.m.

"There was not much sleep, nobody got any sleep,'' head coach Tom Coughlin said of the team's disposition Monday after arriving back home following the long flight, per Newsday. "The guys were tired, and they were sad, they were disappointed . . . It was a different kind of day, let's put it that way.''

The Giants need to put Sunday night's game behind them fast. They match up with the Atlanta Falcons, who are coming off a big win on a short week.
