Former Titan Roos settling into retirement

Just a few short months into retirement, former Tennessee Titans left tackle Michael Roos is already a new man.
According to ESPN's Paul Kuharsky, Roos has dropped from his playing weight of 313 pounds to a svelte 278 pounds.
“I wouldn’t call it easy; it’s just eating and working out and taking it slowly,” Roos said, via Kuharsky. “It didn’t take a lot for me to stay heavy. When you’re playing you’re burning more calories, so when you go eat steak or all those other fatty foods, you can get away with it because you’re going to burn all the calories.
“Now I’m not doing as much, and I also don’t need to be big. So January 1, I just changed the lifestyle and slowly and consistently have been dropping (the weight).”
Roos, who spent 10 seasons with the Titans said he's spending his time traveling and working on his golf game. He maintains a home in Nashville and continues to keep tabs on the Titans.
“I’m still friends with some guys that are on the team, and it’s always going to be a part of me, I’ll keep an eye on it,” he said. “I’m sure I’ll go to games, and I’ll be a part of it that way. It’ll feel different because it won’t affect my life.”
