Former Raider Jones: 'If you need a WR, come get me'
James Jones has a message for any receiver-hungry teams out there.
"If you need a WR, come get me," the former Oakland wideout told ESPN's Josina Anderson.
Jones isn't retiring. In fact, he still wants to play after a surprise release from the Raiders last month.
Since he parted ways with the Silver and Black, Jones said he has garnered interest from three major teams -- the New York Giants, the Seattle Seahawks, and the AFC West rival Kansas City Chiefs. All three could use a veteran presence at receiver.
Other teams could surely throw their hats in the ring for his services. Jones is only 31 and he led the Silver and Black in receptions (73) and touchdowns (6) in 2014.
He hasn't lined up any official visits yet, but Jones' market could heat up when training camps kick off this summer.
