Florida State tight end Nick O'Leary healthy, ready to work out for NFL teams

One of the top tight end prospects in the NFL Draft has finally recovered from a hamstring injury and can work out for interested teams.

A source tells FOX Sports that Florida State’s Nick O’Leary has scheduled a Pro Day workout April 17 in West Palm Beach, Fla.

The 6-foot-3, 252-pound O’Leary won the 2014 John Mackey Award given annually to the NCAA’s top tight end. Mackey had 48 receptions for 618 yards and six touchdowns as a senior to finish as the most prolific pass-catching tight end in school history. He is regarded as a solid blocker who could also contribute as an H-back in the NFL.

O’Leary injured his hamstring in the Rose Bowl and wasn’t able to run at the NFL Scouting Combine or last week’s FSU Pro Day.
