Falcons HC Quinn: Odell Beckham Jr. would be 'great safety'

Is there anything that 2014 Rookie of the Year Odell Beckham Jr. can't do on a football field? According to Atlanta Falcons head coach Dan Quinn, wide receiver isn't the only position that Beckham would be great at.
Per Tom Rock of Newsday, Quinn said that Beckham would be a "great safety." Of course, Quinn hails from Seattle where he coordinated a Seahawks secondary that became known as "The Legion of Boom" for good reason. Quinn had two of the best safeties in the NFL at his disposal in Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor.
Beckham's focus remains on getting over last week's loss by dominating at wide receiver. The idea of playing safety is interesting to Beckham, but not something he would ever really consider.
"I don't know," he said, seeming confused by the comment. "I play receiver right now, so that's all I really focus on.
"Safety is a fun position for a lot of guys, especially if you play free and you're just back there and get to roam, it's almost like playing centerfield," Beckham said. "But that's not my position, nor do I think I could just jump on the field and play safety. I guess I'll take it as a compliment."
