ATLANTA -- Atlanta Falcons defensive line coach Bryan Cox is apologizing for an altercation with another team's scout at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
According to several media reports, Cox shoved a scout from the Arizona Cardinals on Friday night in a dispute over access to a rookie during the interview process.
Cox issued a statement Sunday saying, "I intend to apologize to the young man for the incident." He also says, "It shouldn't have happened."
