Ex-Steeler Ryan Clark picks Ravens over Pittsburgh in AFC North

Former Steelers safety Ryan Clark can't speak with his heart in his new career as an NFL analyst.

Clark says his former team has already lost too much personnel entering the season the make the playoffs in 2015. Even more painful for him was that he picked the Ravens to win the AFC North. Clark cited the departure of longtime defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau as well as the veteran leadership of Brett Keisel and Troy Polamalu as reasons for the Steelers' expected downturn. Losing Maurkice Pouncey for at least the first half of the season and offensive weapons Le'Veon Bell and Martavis Bryant to suspension won't help, but other injuries have Clark thinking it's just not Pittsburgh's year.

"It just seems like things are falling apart," Clark said on ESPN's First Take. "When you lose two kickers to injuries in the preseason ... I'm just really scared.

"Baltimore Ravens is my pick right now to win the AFC North," Clark added. "I feel like the other teams are going to be too good to allow this Pittsburgh Steelers team to get into the playoffs. "
