Ellington back at practice for Cardinals, who plan to divvy up carries

Arizona Cardinals running back Andre Ellington made it through an entire practice on a limited basis Wednesday.
Ellington has been sidelined with a knee injury since a solid performance in a Week 1 victory over the New Orleans Saints, rushing for 69 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.
Chris Johnson has filled in superbly in place of Ellington, rushing for 110 yards and a pair of touchdowns in Sunday's 47-7 rout of the San Francisco 49ers.
Even if Ellington is ready to return to the lineup Sunday, Johnson will continue to see plenty of action. Cardinals coach Bruce Arians told SiriusXM NFL Radio on Tuesday that he plans to share the wealth in the backfield.
"He’s still going to be a 15-to-20-touch guy even when Andre Ellington comes back this week," Arians said of Johnson. "Now that (rookie) David Johnson has emerged, we don’t have to pound just one guy all the time.”
