Eli Manning fires back at 'Entourage' creator in his own way
A couple of weeks back, Doug Ellin, the creator of the "Entourage" television series and movie, expressed his displeasure something that he claims New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning did. According to Ellin, a fan of the Giants, Manning simply snubbed him. Manning reached out to Ellin to appear in the movie, Ellin went on to write a scene for him in the script, and then Manning bailed.
“One of the great tragedies was Eli Manning bailing on me,’’ Ellin said during an episode of “In Depth with Graham Bensinger.’’ “I was going crazy,’’ Ellin said. “Beyond frustrating.’’
Manning was not interested in addressing Ellin's airing of his grievance--after all, this was not the time of the year when Festivus was in season.
“I don’t, whatever, I don’t want to give it any more press than there already has been,’’ Manning said, per the New York Post. “It doesn’t bother me. Whatever.’’
Ellin hasn't quite been able to shake the incident.
“I love the Giants so much, but if Russell Wilson was the quarterback of the Giants, I would be a much happier person.’’
As the Giants get set to enter their eighth OTA practice on Tuesday, Manning clearly has bigger things to worry about.
