Eagles' Malcolm Jenkins is in the NFL's concussion protocol
Philadelphia Eagles starting safety Malcolm Jenkins mysteriously missed practice Tuesday, and now we know why. Chip Kelly said during his Tuesday press conference that Jenkins is currently in the NFL's concussion protocol after suffering a concussion in Week 9.
Jenkins will not practice on Wednesday, and his status for Week 10 is in doubt. Jenkins' concussion was not reporters after the game, and this is the first time it has been mentioned since it occurred on Sunday.
If Jenkins can't play in Week 10, it will be a huge loss for the Eagles' pass defense. Jenkins has evolved into one of the best safeties in the NFL in 2015, and safety is one of the positions where the Eagles are most shallow at.
