PHILADELPHIA (AP) Chiefs offensive coordinator Doug Pederson has completed his interview with the Philadelphia Eagles for their coaching vacancy.

Pederson is the fifth candidate to interview for the job since Chip Kelly was fired on Dec. 29. He started nine games at quarterback for the Eagles in 1999 and began his NFL coaching career as an assistant under Andy Reid in Philadelphia in 2009. Pederson followed Reid to Kansas City in 2013.

Pederson met with the team in Kansas City on Sunday morning. The Chiefs beat Houston 30-0 to advance to the second round.

Eagles running backs coach Duce Staley and offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur and Giants offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo also interviewed along with former Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase, who took the job in Miami.
