Eagles C Jason Kelce credits Chip Kelly for being in best shape of career
You can definitely include Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce as a personal fan of Chip Kelly's sports science program. Kelce, now 27 years old, has played in the NFL for four seasons. He claims that he's in the best physical shape of his career, and he has Kelly to thank for it.
“Being a year older, you naturally get the aches and pains, but right now I feel good,” Kelce said, per CBS Philly. “Physically, my body weight, in terms of lean muscle mass is the best it’s ever been since I’ve been a pro, and I think that’s a credit to Chip and his sports science system. My weight in general is right where I want it, and I don’t get tired very easily. Again, it’s a great credit to Chip and the team’s sports science department.”
Kelce has graded out as one of Pro Football Focus' best centers in the NFL for two straight seasons. In 2013, no center earned a higher grade. He is a key component to the Eagles' potent rushing attack.
