ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) Wide receiver Kris Durham and running back Mikel Leshoure were among 22 cuts by the Detroit Lions on Saturday as they trimmed their roster to the 53-man limit.

Detroit also released guards Rodney Austin and Garrett Reynolds; tackle Michael Williams, linebackers Shamari Benton, Brandon Hepburn and Julian Stanford; wide receivers Patrick Edwards and Andrew Peacock; tight ends Michael Egnew and Jordan Thompson; defensive tackles Andre Fluellen, Xavier Proctor and Jimmy Saddler-McQueen; cornerbacks Chris Greenwood and Mohammed Seisay; running backs Emil Igwengu and George Winn; center Darren Keyton; safety Nate Ness and defensive end Darryl Tapp.

Durham, a college teammate of Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford, caught 38 passes for 490 yards for Detroit last season, but the team appears to have a decent amount of depth at his position now.
