Drew Brees to auction off 1969 Camaro SS

Drew Brees is spending some down time with his family before training camp for the New Orleans Saints kicks off. According to OldCarsWeekly.com, part of that down time includes Brees putting up his 1969 Camaro SS up for auction at the Vicari Auction on July 11.

"The Camaro is undoubtedly one of the most iconic muscle cars of the ’60s, and we are pleased that Drew Brees has chosen Vicari Auction to assist him with the sale of his classic car," said Pete Vicari, owner of Vicari Auction.

The story also explains that Brees won't be auctioning off just his car, as the eventual winner will get far more than just the Camaro. Old Cars Weekly explains that Brees is adding in "an autographed jersey, pair of autographed game cleats, four tickets to a game during the 2015 season, and a meet and greet with up to 10 people at the Saints facility for the successful winning bidder."

That sounds like a pretty beautiful day for whoever wins this auction. Keep an eye out for Brees' car, as well as the eventual winner if you end up making the trip to the auction.
