The news of last week's mass shooting at a church in Charleston, S.C., was too much for Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson to keep quiet any longer. Johnson rejoined Twitter over the weekend to share his thoughts on the massacre that left nine dead.
Johnson followed up his first statement and wished followers a happy Father's Day in the wake of the tragedy.

Johnson said he originally left Twitter because his old account got hacked. The All-Pro wide receiver gained over 12,500 followers of his new account over the weekend.
