David Bruton Jr. carted off the field

DENVER (AP) Broncos special teams standout David Bruton Jr. was carted off the field after a block in the back while covering a punt Sunday against Oakland.

The team said he suffered a concussion and wouldn't return.

Bruton was racing downfield when he was hit from behind by Denico Autry, who drew a flag on the play. Bruton stayed on the ground for several minutes before a cart was called. Raiders QB Derek Carr patted him on the chest as Bruton was driven away.

Right before disappearing through the tunnel, Bruton waved to the crowd.

Earlier in the game, left guard Orlando Franklin left the game with a concussion. He was replaced by Ben Garland.

The Denver offensive line has paved the way for three TDs rushing by tailback C.J. Anderson.

Franklin has started every game this season as he moved over to the left side after playing right tackle in 2013. He was a second-round pick in the 2011 draft out of Miami.

Oakland defensive end C.J. Wilson left in the first half with a hand injury. His return was questionable.

Veteran defensive back Charles Woodson hobbled off twice - once holding his right arm - but returned to the field each time.
