Dan Quinn addresses shoving match between coach and player

When the Carolina Panthers were rolling to a 38-0 victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 14, it's no surprise that tempers began to flare for the Falcons. Specifically, defensive line coach Bryan Cox and defensive tackle Ra'Shede Hageman got into a sideline shove match. Fortunately for both sides, Dan Quinn has let it go and said that he addressed the situation.
Via Ron Clements of Sporting News and AtlantaFalcons.com:
"They are kind of like father-son. Both are emotional guys and (that’s) what makes them both good," Quinn said during his Monday press conference. "They are both top-notch guys. B. Cox was looking out for him when Ra’Shede was emotional during that time on a play. At no point is that going to be part of our football. I talked to both of them about it."
The Falcons have now fallen to 6-7, and are in the midst of trying to figure out how to end their six-game losing streak. There are obvious issues in Atlanta, but a coach and player getting into it is never something you want to see.
