Before the draft, former New York Giants offensive guard Chris Snee offered his services pro bono to help the team evaluate the top offensive linemen in the 2015 NFL Draft. He broke down game tape with Giants offensive line coach Pat Flaherty.

According to head coach Tom Coughlin, Snee's evaluations were a big help for the team.

“He did an outstanding job of that as Pat reflected over the written reports that Chris [Snee] had handed in,” Coughlin said Monday during a radio interview on ESPN New York 98.7 FM. “So who knows what the future holds for him. He loves it. He loves to study the game. He loves to study tape and so on and so forth. And he gave this particular aspect of it a shot and did a good job of evaluating these college offensive linemen.”

Here's what Snee had to say about the team's eventual first-round pick Ereck Flowers:

"He's young and you can see there is a lot of technique work that has to be done," Snee said of the 21-year-old junior Flowers. "It's tough when you pick ninth overall because you want the guy to come in and be an impact player so you can't really afford a project."

Snee added that he "has a little edge to him" but "he'd be a work in progress."

Great job, Chris. I'm sure you're welcome back anytime in the film room during the pre-draft process or the regular season.
