Colts sign T Demarco Cox

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) The Indianapolis Colts have signed undrafted free agent tackle Demarco Cox, a former basketball player at Ole Miss.

The 6-foot-8 Cox played four years of basketball for the Rebels before transferring to Georgia Tech. He started all but one game for the Yellow Jackets and was the team's third-leading scorer (8.8 points per game) and rebounder (6.0).

Cox played football and basketball at Yazoo City (Mississippi) High School and received football offers from several SEC and Big Ten universities.

The team announced the signing Thursday.
