The Indianapolis Colts have a logjam of talent at wide receiver. Tuesday, the team decided to make some room by parting ways with veteran wideout Josh Lenz. The move was announced on the team's official website.
Originally signed by Indianapolis as free agent on November 11, 2013, Lenz spent the bulk of the last two seasons on the team's practice squad. The Iowa State product was promoted to the Colts' active roster for the team's 2013 playoff game against the New England Patriots, but did not play.

During his career, Lenz has also spent time with the Chicago Bears and Seattle Seahawks.
