Colts, Bears agree to joint practices before preseason game

Published Jun. 11, 2015 1:06 p.m. ET

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) The Colts and Bears will hold two days of joint practices in Indianapolis before squaring off in August.

Indianapolis coach Chuck Pagano says the teams will work out at the Colts' complex on Aug. 19 and Aug. 20. They will meet in a preseason game Aug. 22.

Indy has participated in joint workouts previously against the St. Louis Rams, Tennessee Titans and Cleveland Browns. But this will be the first time the Colts have done it in more than a decade.

Pagano says the Colts had discussed working against other teams during his first three seasons in Indy but they never reached an agreement.
