Cleveland's Terrelle Pryor played quarterback, wide receiver and safety in one half
The Cleveland Browns are down to their third-string quarterback with Cody Kessler starting Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins. They do have a very capable backup to Kessler, though. He also happens to be their best receiver.
Terrelle Pryor showed off his incredible versatility in the first half of the game, both on the stat sheet and on the field. He racked up 26 passing yards, 14 rushing yards and 62 receiving yards on four catches.
He’s the third player in the last 25 years to attempt two passes, two rushes and catch two passes in a game.

In addition to playing offense, Pryor also lined up on defense as a deep safety for a potential Hail Mary by the Dolphins.
With Corey Coleman out and Josh Gordon suspended, the Browns don’t have much depth at wide receiver. Unfortunately, they’re even thinner at quarterback, which is part of the reason Pryor took a few snaps there. He’s a playmaker regardless of where he lines up, and the Browns are simply trying to take advantage of his skill set.
