Chip Kelly: Bradford is getting up to speed
The Philadelphia Eagles are expecting big things out of quarterback Sam Bradford in 2015. After missing the team portion of the Eagles' spring practices, Bradford has taken the majority of first team repetitions during training camp. He's finally starting to look like the player head coach Chip Kelly traded for.
“He’s getting up to speed,” Kelly said, per the Philadelphia daily inquirer.
“It’s just good to see him out in 11-on-11, with the rush around him,” Kelly said. “Having to adjust and move up in the pocket. … It’s just a process of him getting more familiar with the speed and tempo of things.”
Bradford has reportedly looked confident in practice and he has shown no signs of playing scared after consecutive seasons lost to torn ACL injuries.
