Chiefs, undefeated at Lambeau, to visit Green Bay on Monday night

The Green Bay Packers have to feel pretty confident about themselves after taking down the defending NFC champions at home in Week 2, but did you know their next opponent is undefeated at Lambeau Field?

That's right. The Kansas City Chiefs, who will visit Green Bay for a Monday night showdown in Week 3, have never lost a game at Lambeau, according to ESPN's Adam Teicher. The last time they met there was in 2003, when Trent Green led the Chiefs to a come-from-behind victory over the Packers.

The Packers have only hosted the Chiefs a total of four times. Kansas City won back-to-back meetings at Lambeau in 1989 and 1990. The Chiefs' first trip to Green Bay was in 1973, and it resulted in a 10-10 tie game.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid knows the mystique of Lambeau Field well. He was an assistant coach with the Packers from 1992-1998.

"It's similar to Arrowhead," Reid said, per ESPN. "It's one of those places that make the NFL the NFL, what this league is. It's a part of history. Both places are part of history in this league."

The Chiefs hold a 7-3-1 advantage over the Packers in the all-time series, which began with a matchup in the NFL's very first Super Bowl. Vince Lombardi's Packers won that game, 35-10, at a neutral site -- the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
