Chiefs rule both starting offensive tackles out against Seahawks

Published Aug. 20, 2015 11:41 p.m. ET

Alex Smith and the Chiefs starters figure to play a full half in their second preseason outing.

That could change in a hurry if Smith's line fails to hold up. Both left tackle Eric Fisher (ankle) and right tackle Jeff Allen (knee) won't suit up against the Seahawks.

Backups Donald Stephenson and Jarrod Pughsley will play in their place with the ones. They have 14 starts between them -- all belonging to Stephenson.
