Chiefs put cornerback Leggett on injured reserve

Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Maurice Leggett is out for the season with a shoulder injury. Leggett was placed on injured reserve Wednesday. He hurt the shoulder Sunday in the Chiefs' 27-24 win over Pittsburgh. Leggett has played in 22 games with the Chiefs, including four starts, since entering the NFL as a rookie free agent last year. He also played safety this season. He's made 47 tackles and returned an interception 27 yards for a touchdown.
