Chiefs open as one-score favorites over the Texans

The Kansas City Chiefs already handled the Houston Texans once at NRG Stadium.

Vegas oddsmakers expect them to do it again. They've installed the visitors as 3.5-point favorites for this weekend's first Wild Card game.

K.C.'s Week 1 matchup in Houston would've covered this spread. They were in control for most of the game and nailed down a 27-20 road victory.

Both teams are very different ones now. Kansas City has pieced together a better offense without Jamaal Charles, while Houston was anchored by the bruising play of J.J. Watt.

The home team should put up a much better fight than in their previous matchup, but Vegas still expects a Chiefs win.
