The Kansas City Chiefs are favored over the New York Jets on Sunday afternoon, despite looking like a mess against the Houston Texans.

Sometimes, you simply need to move on. On Sunday, the Chiefs lost to the Texans, 19-12. There is nothing more to say, other than that for Kansas City, it was just one of those games. Now, the Chiefs have a chance to redeem themselves at home with the Jets coming into town.

According to OddsShark, the Chiefs are three-point favorites over Gang Green, with an over/under of 43.5. Considering the road team always gets a field goal, Vegas is basically saying it believes these two teams are even.

Considering how Kansas City has played to this point in the season, that might be generous. New York would be 2-0 right now had Nick Folk not missed an extra point and had a 22-yard field goal attempt be blocked by the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1. The Chiefs, on the other hand, are without their two best players in Jamaal Charles and Justin Houston, and have played extra one good half of football.

Still, both teams are 1-1 coming into the contest and there is reason to believe the Chiefs will turn things around. For starters, they have been one of the most consistent teams over the last three years, winning 31 regular-season games. Secondly, the talent speaks for itself. Kansas City has been bad so far this season (at least offensively, the defense has been rock solid over the past six quarters), but most feel it’s a matter of time before things get rolling.

So, Addicts, do you think this line is right?
