Chiefs are only an 82 overall team in 'Madden 16'

For the sake of their Madden-playing followers, the Chiefs better get off to a hot start.

They're only rated as an 82 overall in EA Sports' "Madden NFL 16." That's a playable, but certainly not dominant mark.

Outside linebacker Justin Houston (97 overall) is K.C.'s top-rated player. Fullback Anthony Sherman (95 overall) is a close second, followed by the running back he blocks for, Jamaal Charles (94 overall).

Alex Smith is an 84 overall quarterback. His "throwing power" attribute is still up in the air.
