Wide receiver Kevin White, the Chicago Bears' first-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, is getting to know his new teammates, in particular quarterback Jay Cutler.
White, the No. 7 overall pick, said Cutler "wants to have everything down early and quick," according to Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times. The quarterback isn't wasting any time, as he tries to create a chemistry with his top three receivers: White, Alshon Jeffery and free agent acquisition Eddie Royal.
Although there seems to be a need for speed, White says Cutler doesn't mind pumping the breaks when an up-and-coming pass-catcher needs help understanding a concept.
"He wants everything done on time," White said about Cutler, according to the Sun-Times. "But he’s willing to help all his receivers, too."
White was the second receiver selected in this spring's draft and figures to be a large factor in the Bears' passing game at 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds.
