Chargers' Robinson playing everywhere as training camp begins
Eric Weddle has a front row seat to the Patrick Robinson show.
From his safety position, Weddle can see every break his new teammate makes on the ball. He's absolutely impressed with the Chargers' offseason pick-up.
He's been the bright spot these first three days, for sure," Weddle told U-T San Diego on Saturday. "He's talented. Great coverage. He's fast."
And Robinson is versatile, too. According to U-T San Diego, he lined up at traditional cornerback on the outside before sliding inside to play nickel.
Robinson was an active special teamer at his last stop in New Orleans. That could be yet another role for the former first-round pick.
"That's fine," Robinson said. "Sign me up. Sign me up. I'm just glad to be here and have another chance to play football."
